Some of our clients include Daimler Chrysler Canada, McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Ltd., Sklar Pepplar, the Catholic Children’s Aid Society, and The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Our ability to adapt to our client’s needs, our attention to detail, our solution-oriented approach and our ability to provide services for all stages of industry health care management have helped establish P.A.T.H. Ergoworks as an innovator in the ergonomics industry. The goal of the P.A.T.H. Ergoworks ergonomic assessment is to improve the safety, comfort and efficiency of the workplace. All P.A.T.H. Ergoworks ergonomic assessments include an educational seminar for employees. This educational seminar is designed to help the employee learn proper body mechanics and use of equipment, specific to their own work environment.
The purpose of a Physical Demands Analysis (P.D.A.) is to assist the employer in the identification of the physical and environmental components of a job and all of its associated tasks. The P.D.A. profile gives the employer and other health care professionals the greatest insight into the physical requirements involved in adequately and safely performing the duties/functions of a job. The P.D.A. is an objective tool that will assist both the employer, and the individual assessing the employee’s ability to work.
A Post-Offer Pre-Employment Screening program is a key component in an effective work injury prevention program. The screening program allows for the matching of a prospective employee, to the needs of the employer (identified through P.D.A.). The primary purpose of the Functional Screening is to see whether an individual has the ability to do a job-related function safely on a daily basis. BENEFITS OF A P.A.T.H. The Functional Capacity Evaluation (F.C.E.) is an important part of the return-to-work process, as it forms a medical basis for decisions regarding productivity levels and/or the modification of work activities. P.A.T.H. Ergoworks uses the Isernhagen Functional Evaluation System, which guarantees a legally sound, highly objective analysis of an employee’s work performance.
An Independent Medical Evaluation is a neutral, third party assessment focused on musculoskeletal, neurological and psychological issues surrounding an employee’s diagnoses, prognosis and medical status in relation to an injury. It involves a wide range of diagnostic procedures designed to answer the referring person’s questions in a complete and responsible manner. The evaluation is designed to balance the interests of both industry or insurance companies and claimants. The tests are used to eliminate the uncertainties and/or discrepancies that often surface in complex work injury claims management. ©
